Featuring Jenny Roe, co-author, Restorative Cities - Urban Design for Mental Health & Wellbeing

Thursday, March 24, 2022  4:00 - 5:45pm

Location: Senior Friendship Center, 1888 Brother Geenen Way, Sarasota, FL 34236

Dr. Jenny Roe, co-author of Restorative Cities: Urban Design for Mental Health and Wellbeing, will present a blueprint for urban design, mental health, and well-being in the context of rapid growth and the City of Sarasota’s recently adopted strategic plan. Dr. Roe will present the seven pillars of the Restorative Cities Framework; organized by the principles and strategies of urban environments that promote well-being: the green city, the blue city, the sensory city, the neighborly city, the active city, the playable city, the inclusive city, and finally, the restorative city.
