Guest Speaker: James "Jim" Turffs - Attorney | Hill Tannenbaum 

James Turffs is a Sarasota-based attorney with deep Florida roots, having been born in Bradenton and raised in Sarasota. He earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law. Since 2009, James has focused his legal practice on community association and contract law, bringing extensive experience in litigation, collections, contract negotiation, and general counsel for managed communities. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and he is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar’s Real Property Section and the Sarasota and Manatee County Bar Associations.
